Moana Coconut Deck: the list and a first read

The full deck tech for Moana is still being written. Until it is out, this page has the list I am playing, the ability it is built around, and a short read on what to expect from it at the table. If you are still choosing your first character, the quiz is the place to start.

The ability

During your turn, if you have a Moana, Heihei, or Pua character in play, you may ink an additional card.

What the deck does

As long as you have Moana, Heihei or Pua on the table, you get to add two cards to your ink each turn instead of one. You spend the early turns getting rich, and the rest of the game playing bigger things than everyone else.

It takes its points a little from every opponent at once rather than picking on one of them, so you never look like the aggressor.

What will frustrate you: the first three turns are you doing nothing visible. If you need to feel something happening on turn two, this is not it.
